This photo was taken in the "Salar de Uyuni" in Bolivia by Nicole, a girl we met in the limit between Chile and Bolivia, she had the same rute that us so she joined our group and we started travel together until Isla del Sol. In the photo we were trying to sincronyze our jump haha but it was so difficult. We were amazed by the size of the Salar, it was extremly big, like a giant dessert of salt and was so beautiful.

The trip in the photo was in 2017. Ariel (the guy in the right on the photo) convinced me to join him in the trip, but it was so improvised haha we took our things and a little bit of money we had and we jumped into the adventure. In Santiago, Huguito (the guy in the left on the photo) joined us and we started our trip to Bolivia.

I love the photo because it reminds me of the travel, the adventure, and a lot of good moments with my friends. That experience teached me a lot about others cultures, about me and about organizing a travel with time hahah

In 2008 I started playing saxophone in the Puerto Varas Big Band, I was a kid and I had started to play very recently, but being  a member of the Big Band helped me to learn more about my instrument and jazz music.

I remember our first presentation in the municipal gym of Puerto Varas, it was so fun, but we had a lot to learn like band and music players, we were beetwen 11 – 15 years old.

I met so many places of Chile with the Puerto Varas Big Band, the most beutiful of them was Futaleufu in the south of Chile, it’s a Paradise!

I stopped playing with the Puerto Varas Big Band in 2015, because the next year I was going to leave Puerto Varas and  start studying in Santiago. But in 2017 they invited me to play with them in a festival in Valparaiso, it was my last presentation with the Puerto Varas Big Band.

I learned a lot of things and I’m happy of have being part of that band, that still works today.
